Jamey Droddy

BCM Director

LSUS, LTC

Prior to moving to Shreveport, I served as Campus Minister at both Georgia Tech and Emory University in Atlanta, GA. I graduated from LSU with a B.S. in Business Administration, and followed that with a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) with a specialty in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I am married to Mary Droddy and have 3 kids: Jonah (6), Seth (4), and Abram (1) We also have a dog named Lucy. I enjoy traveling and seeing new places. I enjoy finding new and interesting places to eat - I'm an adventurous eater. I like to play sports, but the only one I have much ability in is basketball, and I enjoy playing basketball with friends. I have run in 3 marathons and do still run on occasion, but I do not consider myself to be a runner. Confusing, huh?

Christy Holcombe

Associate Director

LSUHSC, Centenary College, NSU School of Nursing

I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree in Speech & Language Pathology, and I am taking Seminary classes at the present time.  I love college students and, obviously, COLLEGE!!  Sophie Jean is my little beagle dog, and she is wonderful. In my "free" time, I love to read, play the piano and guitar, and play games - Scrabble, Boggle, Spades.  Other hobbies include piddling and looking at grocery sale circulars!

Jerome Stockert

Associate Director

BPCC, Southern University at Shreveport

Originally from North Dakota, I left the frozen tundra in the hopes of exploring new and exotic places that did not involve snow drifts, ice fishing, and polka. I ended up in Arkansas where I earned my undergraduate degree in zoology. It was there where I met and married my first and only love, Andrea. Having gone forth and multiplied, we now have three kids, Caleb (12), Kaitlyn (12), and Callie (10). Before moving to Shreveport, I served as the Metro Director for collegiate ministry in Pittsburgh, PA. Having also lived in Ft. Worth, TX (seminary) and Phoenix, AZ (campus minister), I can truly say that Shreveport is...well...small. But I like it. I enjoy doing many things in my off hours such as underwater basket weaving and ostrich racing (watching, not riding). My favorite quote comes from Douglas Adams, and I have claimed it for myself. It states, "I refuse to answer the question on the grounds that I don't know the answer."

I am a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas (Go Hogs!) with a B.A. in Chemistry and of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. I've been married to Jamey Droddy for 8 1/2 years, and have three kids: Jonah, Seth, & Abram.  We also have a dog named Lucy.  I like to decorate my house in retro, slightly kooky things, and my favorite foods are vegetables and cookies!
